Midriff

If you guys noticed, midriff tops are all the rage right now. I can definitely say that I am obsessed with midriffs right now because of my collection of different colors of it. I know summer is already over, but I think this trend is for all seasons. Lol. It can go with shorts and skirts and you're ready to go! This outfit idea is perfect from lazy and laid-back days.

So I wore this outfit last Sunday. I paired this midriff top with this cute pastel skater skirt and wore these comfy studded loafers to complete this laid-back look. I also added one of my favorite floral crown to add a sweet touch. What I like about this look is the color combination.

Sweet Floral

Here's what I wore to the twins' birthday celebration last June 1. Talk about major backlog! I've been really busy in school and I have no time to update my blog.. Good thing, there are no classes today. I can finally upload all my backlogs. Haha!

I wore this adorable floral dress from Topshop and paired it with this pink sheer polo. I also decided to pair this outfit with these cute mary jane inspired bow heels to make it more girly and sweet.

These pair are definitely my favorite! I love the color and it is perfect for floral prints and girly outfits.

Candy Girl

Last month, I was the "It Girl of the Web" featured in Candy Mag's website. I was really really happy because I've been an avid ready of Candy Magazine since I was twelve years old.  I just have to share this because it's really  dream come true for me to featured in this website/magazine.

And just this month, I was also featured in this month's issue of the Candy Magazine.. Ahhhhh! It's just a small feature in the "All the Rage" fashion section but I am really overjoyed. It's every girl's dream to see her face in print on a magazine so I am really really thankful for this small feature. Hoping and looking forward for more. <3

Midriff

I was invited to come to a 18th birthday celebration party at 7th high last May 24. Since it the dress code is not formal nor semi - formal, I decided to wear this aztec midriff corset with this navy blue skater skirt. I think this combination is perfect because it's stylish and sexy without showing too much skin.

I've always loved crop tops and midriff tops because it can go with any outfit. You can simply wear it with a high waisted shorts or skirt and you're ready to go!

If you noticed, I am wearing the same floral crown I've posted in my previous blog post. This wasn't actually the floral crown I planned to wear but since I left that one in the car I had to choice but to wear this one instead. Good thing my friend who borrowed it brought it that night. One thing that I like about this floral crown is that it's very versatile. It can go with any outfit.

Different

Here's another quick post on what I wore on our second day in Baguio. Everyone's in a hurry so my sister only took one picture of me. Boo... Anyway, I decided to experiment on my outfit this time. This is not really  "me" but why not try something new right? :)
It was really cold so I decided to wear this JD muscle shirt with a button down polo and these striped leggings.

Awkward feet. Haha!

I got this lovely floral crown from The Royal Park shop. They sell really cute and affordable crowns. If you noticed, I've been frequently wearing floral crowns in my recent posts. I am really obsessed with these nowadays!! <3

Close Up Summer Solstice 2013

So last Saturday, the most awaited musical festival happened. Everyone's been talking about the Close Up Summer Solstice. I'm sure you all read or heard about this event in magazines, radios, and of course in televisions. They've been really promoting this event because it's a 12 hour non - stop party filled with awesome artists who will be performing. I decided to wear an outfit that is inspired by the famous Coachella Festival. I've been really researching for inspiration for my outfit for the close up summer solstice so here's what I came up.

I paired this muscle shirt with this cute low waist shorts I got from Uniqlo. I added some aztec bracelets to add pop of color to my outfit and of course, my ever favorite boots. I also added this cute floral crown to add a sweet and fresh touch to my outfit.

My new favorite ring from Forever 21

I've been wanting to get myself a pair of Doc Martens. So stay tuned for that! Can't wait to buy a pair!

Here are some pictures from the event. I was with my friend, Bianca the whole event. As originally planned, my two friends were supposed to join us that day. But unfortunately, they were caught  up into something that's why they weren't able to go. I'm sure It will be more fun if we were many so that we can dance our hearts out. Haha!

If you noticed, I'm using a different floral crown in that picture. My sister borrowed my other floral crown. Good thing I brought an extra one. Haha! *Red Floral Crown from Katie and Lee*

Overall, the Close Up Summer Solstice was AWESOME!!! It was indeed an epic night!!!! I had fun dancing to awesome music. Everyone was sooo good!  I also had fun looking at the beautiful outfits of other girls and I can't wait to dress up again for the next one! Hopefully there will be another one next year! :)

This was after the event. We all looked so wasted and haggard. Haha. My sisters were also there but they were in a different section.

That's all for now!

Ruth
